ISCOMS is held at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) in the Netherlands. It is a non-profit organisation made up of students. In 2003, the Student Congres Geneeskunde changed to an international congress with the name International Student Congress of Medicine. In 2004 the name was changed to ISCOMS.
